Job summary

DSV Air & Sea Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking an Operational Account Manager, Freight Operations to support the Road US team’s brokerage activities. You will build and maintain customer relationships, oversee house accounts, and drive growth with current and new clients.

You will negotiate rates with carriers, monitor shipments from pickup to delivery, and ensure accurate communication. Proficiency with TMS and MS Office is expected, along with strong pricing and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; degree in business/logistics preferred.
• 3 years' experience in logistics or transportation brokerage; 5+ years preferred.
• Experience with transportation management systems.

Responsibilities

• Develops customer relationships via calls, email, and in person.
• Negotiate rates and services with carriers.
• Identify growth opportunities within house accounts.
• Manage customer leads and new opportunities.
• Monitor shipments and provide updates to customers.
• Input data into the TMS for planning and scheduling.
• Support pricing guidelines for Carrier Sales.
• Coordinate communication across teams to meet customer expectations.
• Prepare spend reports and check-ins with customers.
