Qualifications

• Experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain coordination.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient with TMS and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly.
• HS diploma; degree in logistics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate transportation schedules for shipments.
• Communicate with carriers, drivers, vendors, and customers to arrange pickups.
• Track shipments and update stakeholders on delivery times.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain records of shipments, costs, and documentation.
• Resolve delays, damage, or loss during transportation.
• Collaborate with DCs, carriers, and customer service to streamline shipping.
• Analyze costs and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Generate reports on transportation activities and performance metrics.
• Manage yard traffic and trailer/tractor movements.
• Complete dock paperwork and perform Hostler duties as needed.
• Support daily functions using McLeod software and MS Office.
