Job summary

Key Staffing, Inc. is seeking a highly organized Transportation Coordinator to support daily transportation, dispatch, scheduling, and logistics operations.

The role collaborates with drivers, carriers, and internal teams to coordinate services, maintain records, and resolve issues so all services are safe and on time. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in transportation, logistics, dispatching, or scheduling, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and TripMaster or similar software.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, dispatching, scheduling, fleet coordination, or customer service.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and scheduling databases.
• TripMaster or similar transportation scheduling software experience is highly preferred.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transportation schedules, routes, and dispatch activities.
• Communicate with drivers, carriers, vendors, and internal departments regarding service needs and schedule changes.
• Track transportation activity and monitor services for timeliness and efficiency.
• Assist with fleet scheduling and help ensure vehicles are ready for scheduled transportation needs.
• Resolve scheduling, transportation, and service-related issues quickly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate records related to transportation activity, billing, invoicing, costs, and vehicle usage.
• Assist with vendor management, service evaluations, and contract-related processes.
• Monitor transportation expenses and support cost-control efforts.
• Ensure transportation services follow company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations.
• Prepare reports related to transportation performance, service levels, and costs.
• Respond to client or member questions and concerns regarding transportation services.
• Support transportation procedures, special projects, and additional operational needs as assigned.
