Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field is a plus.
• Proven experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain coordination.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate transportation schedules for incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Communicate with carriers, drivers, vendors, and customers to arrange pickup and delivery of goods.
• Track shipments and update stakeholders on expected delivery times.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, transportation costs and documentation.
• Handle delays, damage or loss and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with DCs, carriers, and customer service to streamline shipping processes.
• Analyze transportation costs and identify efficiency improvements.
• Generate reports on transportation activities and performance metrics.
• Operate dock equipment and manage yard/traffic flow as needed.
