Job summary

Jerry.ai is hiring a Strategic Finance Manager to own the operating model, planning cadence, and spend discipline across the business. You will partner with leaders, CFO, and founders to drive the budgeting, forecasting, and executive storytelling.

You will build driver-based models as new products scale, oversee variance analysis, and guide corporate development discussions. Strong finance fundamentals and startup experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevance experience, ideally in investment banking, corporate development, or private equity plus 2+ years in strategic finance/FP&A at a high-growth company.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a similarly quantitative field.
• Strong financial modeling skills: driver-based models, three-statement mechanics, scenarios, and GAAP.
• Experience with unit economics in consumer or marketplace businesses (CAC, LTV, payback, retention, contribution margin).
• Ability to translate complex analysis into clear narrative for executives or investors.
• Startup or high-growth experience is highly preferred, with ability to build processes from scratch.
• Hands-on fluency with AI tools for analysis, research, and workflow automation.

Responsibilities

• Own the operating model, planning cadence, and spend discipline; partner with functional leaders.
• Run annual budget and long-range planning end-to-end; own the consolidated plan.
• Lead monthly and quarterly forecast cycles with variance analysis and explanations.
• Write executive narratives translating results into actionable business insights.
• Lead monthly business reviews; turn numbers into decisions.
• Evaluate and implement a planning system; author the rollout.
