Job summary

Jerry.ai is seeking a Strategic Finance Manager to own the operating model, planning cadence, and spend discipline. You will partner with leaders across the company, build financial models for new opportunities, and deliver executive-ready narratives for the CFO and founders.

You will drive the budgeting, long-range planning, and monthly/quarterly forecast cycles, ensuring the numbers underpin strategic decisions while enabling external diligence readiness.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in strategic finance or FP&A at high-growth companies
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or a similarly quantitative field
• Strong financial modeling skills: driver-based operating models and three-statement mechanics
• Experience with unit economics: CAC, LTV, payback, cohort retention, contribution margin
• Proven ability to translate complex analysis into clear executive-level narratives
• Startup or high-growth experience preferred, building financial processes from scratch
• Hands-on fluency with AI tools for analysis, research, and workflow automation

Responsibilities

• Own the operating model, planning cadence, and budget/forecast cycles end to end
• Build the financial case for new opportunities (product, verticals, channels, partnerships)
• Evaluate and implement planning systems and vendor spend with clear ROI
• Provide executive narratives and monthly business reviews with actionable insights
• Partner with functional leaders and finance leadership to drive decisions
• Support corporate development through diligence, modeling, and transaction analysis
