Job summary

Jerry.ai is hiring a Strategic Finance Manager to own the operating model, planning cadence, and spend discipline. You will partner with leaders across the company, work closely with the CFO and founders, and own the monthly and quarterly forecast cycle as well as variance analysis.

The role involves building the financial case for new opportunities and guiding strategic decisions with rigorous analytics. You will translate complex data into concise narratives for executive review, lead business

Qualifications

4+ years of relevant experience in finance/FP&A or similar
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
Strong financial modeling skills: driver-based models, three-statement mechanics, scenario analysis, GAAP
Experience with unit economics, CAC, LTV, payback, retention, and margin metrics
Track record translating complex analysis into a clear executive narrative for leadership
Startup or high-growth experience and building financial processes from scratch
Hands-on fluency with AI tools for analysis, research, and workflow automation

Responsibilities

Own the operating model and forecast cycle for base business and new opportunities
Run annual budget and long-range planning end-to-end with assumptions and inputs
Manage monthly/quarterly forecast and variance analysis after closing
Write executive narratives translating results into clear business insights
Lead monthly business reviews with functional leaders to drive decisions
Assist in evaluating planning systems and roll-out options
Build financial cases for new products, channels and partnerships; monitor results against plans
