Job summary

Jerry.ai is seeking a Strategic Finance Manager to own the operating model, planning cadence, and forecast cycle, partnering with leaders across the company. You will drive the annual budget, long-range planning, and executive narrative that informs decisions at the CFO and founder level.

You will build and scale the financial case for new opportunities, monitor product and channel economics (CAC, LTV, payback, retention), and support corporate development through diligence and modeling.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in finance/FP&A, preferably in startup/high-growth.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics.
Strong financial modeling skills, driver-based models and three-statement mechanics (GAAP).
Experience with unit economics: CAC, LTV, payback, and contribution margin.
Startup/high-growth experience; ability to build financial processes from scratch.
Hands-on fluency with AI tools for analysis, research, and workflow automation.

Responsibilities

Own the operating model, planning cadence, and forecast cycle end to end.
Lead annual budget and long-range planning with cadence, assumptions, inputs, and consolidated plan.
Explain variances and provide insights to CFO, founders, and board.
Lead monthly business reviews and partner with functional leaders on decisions.
Evaluate and implement a planning system and drive rollout.
