Job summary

BDO USA in McLean, VA is seeking a Federal Contracts & Pricing Manager to support federal contracting lifecycle, including prime contract administration, proposal development, and compliance with FAR/DFARS. You will collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and government customers to deliver compliant contract and pricing solutions.

The role requires six plus years of federal contracting experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; CFCM/CPCM preferred.

Qualifications

• Six or more years of federal contracting experience.
• Experience with FAR, DFARS, CAS and/or other federal contracting regulations.
• Experience with GSA Schedules, OTAs, and non-FAR awards preferred.
• CFCM or CPCM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages full lifecycle contract administration for federal clients including proposal development, negotiations, execution, performance, modifications, and closeout.
• Reviews solicitations and proposals for compliance risks; supports budget models, cost narratives, business volumes, and certifications.
• Interprets FAR/DFARS and agency supplements to negotiate awards and ensure compliance on federally funded projects.
• Manages subcontractor compliance including onboarding, flowdowns, price reasonableness, and performance monitoring.
• Leads development of small business subcontracting plans and reporting.
• Develops compliant contract files, trackers, and documentation for deliverables and disclosures.
• Reviews client policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal portfolio requirements.
• Aids in business development, marketing, and cross-servicing opportunities.
• Prepares thought leadership articles or presentations for webinars and conferences.
• Other duties as required.
