Job summary

Strativia is seeking a Business Development & Capture Manager to drive growth in the federal contracting market, focusing on Defense and Federal Civilian clients in the United States. You will develop and execute BD and capture strategies, lead complex opportunities, and collaborate with government stakeholders and partners to advance pipeline and proposals.

The role requires deep GOVCON experience, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of federal GOVCON BD/capture experience.
• Proven success leading opportunities valued at $10M+.
• Experience incorporating AI tools into BD/capture activities.
• Knowledge of federal procurement, acquisition processes, and capture strategy.
• Experience with Defense and/or Federal Civilian customers.
• Ability to build relationships with government customers, industry partners, and teaming organizations.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; significant relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance; TS/SCI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute BD and capture strategies for Defense and Federal Civilian markets.
• Identify, research, qualify, and lead complex federal contracting opportunities through the lifecycle.
• Develop capture plans aligning customer requirements, competitive positioning, teaming strategies, and capabilities.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance opportunity identification, qualification, capture planning, market research, and BD activities.
• Utilize GovDash or similar platforms to support opportunity research, pipeline development, and capture activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with government stakeholders, prospective customers, industry partners, and teaming organizations.
• Develop go-to-market solutions that align capabilities with customer missions and requirements.
• Coordinate with systems integrators, subcontractors, and strategic partners to develop teaming agreements and proposals.
• Manage and maintain the BD and capture pipeline, prioritizing opportunities.
• Support pipeline and bookings goals through proactive capture activities.
• Conduct market, customer, competitive, and opportunity research for informed pursuit decisions.
• Provide strategic analysis and market intelligence to senior leadership.
• Collaborate across BD, Capture, Proposal, Operations, and executive leadership.
• Support transition of qualified opportunities into proposal development.
• Monitor federal acquisition trends and upcoming procurements to identify growth opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
