Job summary

Cengage Group is seeking an experienced enterprise sales professional in the United States to lead new business acquisition within a large-organization territory. You will engage CISO/CIO/CTO leaders, manage complex deals, and drive pipeline through proactive outreach and strategic account penetration.

The role focuses on cybersecurity, SaaS, and enterprise technology solutions, with an emphasis on long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and quota attainment in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in B2B sales
• Experience selling cybersecurity, SaaS, or enterprise technology
• Experience engaging with C-level executives (CISO, CIO, CTO)
• Strong understanding of complex sales cycles and multi-opportunity management
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales quotas in a high-growth environment
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce

Responsibilities

• Take charge of new business acquisition within enterprise territory (2,000+ employees)
• Develop account penetration strategies to enter net-new organizations
• Build and manage a robust pipeline through proactive prospecting
• Identify and engage senior leaders (CISO, CIO, CTO)
• Lead multi-stakeholder sales cycles from engagement to close
• Position cybersecurity/InfoSec value in terms of risk and resilience
• Drive deal strategy, pricing, and contract negotiations
• Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and risk visibility
