Job summary

Cengage Group, a global edtech leader, is seeking an ambitious Enterprise Sales Specialist in the United States to drive new business across large accounts. You will build strategic penetration plans, manage a robust pipeline, and engage CISO/CIO/CTO level stakeholders to close multi-stage deals.

You will articulate the value of InfoSec solutions within risk and compliance contexts, negotiating contracts and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet ambitious quotas.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in B2B sales
• Experience selling cybersecurity, SaaS, or enterprise tech preferred
• Experience engaging C-level executives (CISO, CIO, CTO)
• Ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple opportunities
• Proven track record of meeting quotas in high-growth settings
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Take charge of new business acquisition within enterprise territory (2,000+ employees)
• Develop account penetration strategies to enter new organizations
• Build and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities
• Identify and engage senior IT leaders (CISO, CIO, CTO)
• Lead complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles from engagement to close
• Position value of InfoSec solutions in risk, compliance, resilience terms
• Drive deal strategy including pricing and contracts
• Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting
• Be self-motivated and able to operate in a fast-paced environment
