Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a high-performing Named Account Manager to join our enterprise sales team in the Pacific Northwest. You will manage a mix of Named and Mid-Market accounts, drive upsell and cross-sell with partners, and protect customers from advanced threats using Proofpoint Platform solutions.

You will report to the Named Account Sales Director and reside in Seattle, WA or Portland, OR, with a focus on executive engagement and strategic deals across email, cloud, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of field sales experience selling complex cybersecurity solutions or related field.
• Demonstrated track record of success in midmarket and enterprise accounts.
• Experience working with Channel Partners and selling via two-tier distribution.
• Ability to develop multi-product, multi-year proposals and present solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic plan with a focus on forecast accuracy and SFDC hygiene.
• Maintain high activity with 6–10 customer/partner meetings per week and significant prospecting hours.
• Deliver executive-level presentations (CISO, CIO, CMO) and articulate business value.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to close complex deals.
