Job summary

Proofpoint, Inc. is seeking a self-starting Named Account Manager to join our growing team. This role targets enterprise accounts across the United States and will be based in the Bay Area, CA.

You will work with our Sales Engineering and channels teams to introduce Proofpoint to new customers and expand presence within existing customers. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in enterprise sales, preferably in Enterprise Security or IT products, and a proven track record of exceeding sales goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in field sales to large enterprises
• Experience selling Enterprise Security or IT products preferred
• Proven track record of exceeding sales goals
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Organized, detail- and process-oriented
• Self-starter able to work independently or in a team
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools preferred
• BA/BS or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Establish executive relationships and present solutions to C-levels
• Penetrate new accounts and expand presence with existing customers
• Partner with channel organization to grow market share
• Collaborate with Sales/Systems Engineering to deliver demos and PoCs
• Aim to consistently achieve and exceed quota
