Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Project Manager to lead transmission, substation, distribution, gas, and IT projects across multiple disciplines. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and safety performance, guiding teams through business cases, capital approvals, and project closeout.

Interfaces with sponsors and executives, develops recovery plans, and ensures alignment with stakeholders while delivering on objectives within timeframes and resource constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 4–7 years PM experience, or high school diploma with 6–9 years PM experience.
• CAPM certification or achieve CAPM within two years of job entry (PMP certification will fulfill this requirement).
• Demonstrated and documented success at managing projects.
• Ability to work independently and as a team leader including the ability to handle conflicting priorities in a multi task environment.
• Demonstrated strong independent judgment skills.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal and time management skills.
• Valid driver's license and access to an automobile.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects including transmission, substation, distribution, and gas; manage costs, schedule, and scope.
• Be primary communicator with sponsor and key stakeholders on project issues, including executive level.
• Ensure team resources and responsibilities understood and aligned.
• Coach and lead team members to complete assigned tasks.
• Identify and obtain project team resources.
