Job summary

Exelon seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead transmission, substation, distribution, gas, and IT initiatives. You will guide cross-functional teams, manage scope, schedule and budget, and report to senior stakeholders.

The role may require extended hours during storms or energy emergencies. Qualifications include a engineering degree or equivalent, CAPM/PMP credentials, and a proven ability to deliver complex programs on time and within cost.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or related field with 4–7 years of project management experience, or equivalent.
• CAPM certification or ability to obtain CAPM within two years; PMP will fulfill this.
• Proven track record delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee major transmission, substation, distribution, gas, and IT projects with cross-functional teams.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget and safety performance for multiple projects.
• Communicate with sponsors and stakeholders, including executives.
• Develop recovery plans and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
• Coordinate resources and manage interdepartmental relations.
