Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex initiatives across transmission, substation, distribution, gas, and IT. You will manage scope, schedule, budget and safety while coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners.

Projects typically range from $250K to $15M and may require extended hours during storms or emergencies. You will drive planning, execution, and project closeout with a focus on delivering value and maintaining high performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required; business degree considered.
• CAPM certification or plan to obtain CAPM within 2 years; PMP meets requirement.
• Demonstrated success in managing projects with independent judgment and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Ensure overall project performance for transmission, substation, distribution, gas, IT initiatives.
• Control costs, schedule, and scope; develop recovery plans as needed.
• Interface with stakeholders to coordinate requirements and report progress.
• Communicate with sponsors and executives on project issues and status.
• Foster good working relationships between project team, line managers, and interfacing orgs.
• Coach and lead team members to complete tasks; manage resources.
• Ensure team understands responsibilities and performance expectations.
• Able to work extended hours during storms or energy delivery emergencies.
