Job summary

Exelon is seeking a results-oriented Project Manager to lead complex cross-functional initiatives across transmission, substation, distribution, gas, and IT projects. You will drive scope, schedule, budget, and safety metrics while coordinating with executives and stakeholders.

The role requires 4–7 years of PM experience (or 6–9 years with HS diploma), CAPM or equivalent within two years, and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and 4-7 years relevant project management or related experience, OR High School Diploma and 6-9 years of relevant project management or related experience
• CAPM certification or achieve CAPM within two years of job entry (PMP certification will fulfill this requirement)
• Demonstrated and documented success at managing projects
• Ability to work independently and as a team leader including the ability to handle conflicting priorities in a multi task environment
• Demonstrated strong independent judgment skills
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal and time management skills
• Valid driver's license and access to an automobile

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall project performance for large transmission, substation, distribution and gas initiatives.
• Manage costs, schedule and scope with recovery plans to stay within approved limits.
• Interface with external and internal stakeholders to coordinate project requirements.
• Communicate with sponsor and stakeholders at executive level and across departments.
• Foster good working relationships between project team, line managers, and interfacing units.
• Coach and lead team members to complete assigned tasks.
• Identify and obtain project team resources.
• Ensure team members understand their responsibilities.
