Job summary

Exelon Corporation is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex transmission, substation, distribution, gas, and IT projects with cross-functional teams and multi-department collaboration. You will manage scope, schedule, budget and safety, guiding programs from business case to closeout.

The role requires PM leadership, client interaction, and resource coordination across functions, with potential extended hours during storms or emergencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; 7–10 years PM experience, or 9–12 years without Bachelor's
• PMP certification or PMP within two years of entry
• Proven ability to lead large, complex projects using standard PM methods
• Ability to manage scope, schedule, budget and stakeholders effectively
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Directly accountable to deliver projects on time and within budget
• Interface with external customers for transmission and substation projects
• Coordinate resources across multiple disciplines and operating areas
• Communicate project status to sponsors and executives
• Manage contract resources and approve changes/payments
• Coach team members and mentor colleagues
• Obtain zoning variations and permits for large projects
• Provide backup support to the Manager Project Management
