HDR is seeking a visionary Drinking Water Market Sector Leader to shape water infrastructure strategy for the PA-OH-WV-DE Area and beyond.

You will guide multi-discipline projects from planning through delivery, lead strategic pursuits, and collaborate across HDR’s national network of experts to expand services while mentoring staff and advancing HDR’s culture. Based in the Cleveland region, this role influences communities and professionals alike.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering, planning or related field.
• 10+ years of industry experience in water/engineering sectors.
• Experience developing and managing strategic marketing programs for planning or engineering services.
• Experience managing client relationships and pursuing program or project opportunities.
• Experience staff development including recruiting and career growth.
• Active involvement with industry associations and a visible market presence.
• Ability to work cooperatively with senior HDR leadership and teams.
• Commitment to HDR values and employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead client development and advise key regional clients.
• Identify and pursue strategic growth across municipal and private water markets.
• Coordinate staffing and recruiting within the Water Business Group.
• Develop Water Business Group-wide initiatives and implement them.
• Support talent management and recruitment efforts.
• Promote Drinking Water initiatives to the PA-OH-WV-DE region.
• Represent HDR in industry associations and conferences.
• Lead and oversee complex multi-discipline water infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate across HDR groups to expand services and capabilities.
