HDR is seeking a visionary Drinking Water Market Sector Leader to shape the future of water infrastructure across PA-OH-WV-DE and beyond. You will guide multi-discipline projects, lead strategic pursuits, and collaborate with HDR’s national network to improve resiliency and quality of life in communities.

The role emphasizes staff development, industry leadership, and promoting HDR’s services while advancing technical excellence and innovation across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in an engineering, planning or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of industry experience.
• Experience in developing and managing strategic marketing programs for planning/engineering services.
• Experience in developing and managing a wide range of client relationships and program/project pursuits.
• Experience in staff development including recruiting and career growth.
• Experience with industry associations and a visible market-sector profile.
• Ability to work with multiple HDR leadership roles across regions.

Responsibilities

• Lead client development efforts and serve as trusted advisor to regional clients.
• Identify and pursue strategic growth opportunities across municipal and private water markets.
• Coordinate staffing and recruiting plans with Water Business Group leadership.
• Develop and implement Water Business Group-wide initiatives.
• Mentor, recruit, and develop the next generation of water leaders.
• Represent HDR through industry organizations and conferences.
