HDR seeks a Drinking Water Market Sector Leader to drive strategic growth across PA-OH-WV-DE water markets and beyond. You will lead client relationships, manage multi-discipline projects, and collaborate with HDR’s national network to expand services and capabilities in a dynamic, inclusive environment.

You will mentor staff, develop talent, and participate in industry leadership, conferences, and community initiatives, shaping HDR’s future in the drinking water sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, planning or a related field.
• 10+ years of industry experience.
• Experience developing and managing strategic marketing programs for planning/engineering services.
• Experience managing client relationships and pursuits.
• Experience staff development incl. recruiting and career growth.
• Active involvement with industry associations and visible market presence.
• Ability to collaborate with HDR leadership across regions.

Responsibilities

• Lead client development efforts and act as trusted advisor to regional clients.
• Identify and pursue strategic growth opportunities across municipal and private water markets.
• Coordinate staffing and recruiting plans within the Water Business Group leadership team.
• Develop and implement Water Business Group-wide initiatives.
• Mentor staff and promote HDR values within the team.
• Represent HDR in industry organizations and conferences.
