HDR is seeking a visionary Drinking Water Market Sector Leader to shape the future of water infrastructure across the PA-OH-WV-DE area and beyond. You will guide multi-discipline projects, expand HDR’s regional presence, and enhance client partnerships while mentoring staff and driving innovation in water solutions.

The role offers leadership opportunities within HDR’s national network, with a focus on resiliency, sustainability, and community impact, and a pathway to broader industry leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in an engineering, planning or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of industry experience.
• Experience developing and managing strategic marketing programs for planning and/or engineering services.
• Experience developing and managing a wide range of client relationships and pursuits.
• Experience with staff development including recruiting, career path and professional growth.
• Active involvement with industry associations and maintains a visible profile in the market sector.
• Ability to work cooperatively with HDR regional and market leaders across roles.
• Demonstrated commitment to HDR values and employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead client development efforts and serve as a trusted advisor to regional clients.
• Identify and pursue strategic growth opportunities across municipal and private water markets.
• Coordinate staffing and recruiting plans for key hires with leadership teams.
• Develop and implement Water Business Group-wide initiatives.
• Identify technical gaps and support talent management and recruiting.
• Develop Drinking Water initiatives for the PA-OH-WV-DE Area marketplace.
• Represent HDR in industry associations and conferences.
• Manage complex, multi-discipline water infrastructure projects.
