Job summary

HDR seeks a Military Planning Project Manager to lead multi-facility planning efforts from pursuit through cost proposal and execution for DoD and Federal clients. You will guide diverse teams of planners, analysts, GIS/CAD specialists, and engineers, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and high-quality documentation.

The role requires strong leadership, DoD project experience, and ability to coordinate with government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 7 years related experience.
• At least 2 years project management experience.
• Ability to interact with design teams and show strong organizational and communication skills.
• Active participation in an employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Manage teams of planners, analysts, editors, GIS/CAD specialists and engineers.
• Supervise, coach and mentor staff for current and future market needs.
• Prepare and facilitate workshops and charrettes with stakeholders.
• Conduct progress reviews with leadership and client project managers.
• Ensure QA/QC alignment with contract scopes and standards.
• Manage project finances and risk, including fee proposals and budgets.
