Job summary

HDR is seeking a Military Planning Project Manager to guide multi-facility planning from pursuit to cost proposal through completion. You will manage teams, conduct charrettes, and ensure deliverables meet DoD/DoW standards while staying on schedule and budget.

This role requires DoD-related experience and the ability to travel internationally. Primary responsibilities include coordinating with operations, preparing fee proposals, and ensuring QA/QC for all deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 7 years of related experience.
• Minimum 2 years of project management experience.
• Ability to interact with design teams and communicate effectively.
• Active participation in an employee-owned culture is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage teams of military planners, analysts, and associated disciplines.
• Supervise and mentor staff for market trends and client needs.
• Prepare and facilitate workshops and charrettes with stakeholders.
• Conduct in-briefs/out-briefs with leadership on site visits and milestones.
• Maintain QA/QC to align deliverables with contract scopes and policies.
• Manage project finances and conduct internal review meetings.
• Lead client meetings to discuss reviews and updates.
• Collaborate with Operations and other PMs to deliver results.
• Prepare fee proposals and risk mitigation plans for new contracts.
• Assist with client development and business growth activities.
