Job summary

HDR is seeking a Military Planning Project Manager who will oversee multi-site planning efforts for DoD and federal clients. The role requires managing teams of planners, analysts, and engineers, delivering on schedule and budget while developing high-quality documentation.

Preferred candidates will have DoD clearance, leadership experience, and strong GIS/ CAD capabilities, with travel as needed. HDR offers an employee-owned culture and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field as a baseline requirement.
• 7+ years related experience in military planning or equivalent.
• 2+ years project management experience required.
• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills essential.
• Active participation in an employee-owned culture and ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple facilities planning projects from pursuit to delivery.
• Develop cost proposals and manage project schedules and budgets.
• Lead workshops/charrettes with stakeholders to meet objectives.
• Coordinate with DoD/DoW clients and internal teams to ensure QA/QC.
• Prepare technical narratives and risk mitigation plans for contracts.
• Guide and mentor junior planners and analysts on project delivery.
