Job summary

HDR is seeking a Military Planning Project Manager to oversee facilities planning projects for DoD and Federal clients. You will manage cross-disciplinary teams and ensure products meet milestones, budgets, and client expectations.

The role requires strong leadership, data analysis, and stakeholder communication. Responsibilities include workshops facilitation, risk management, and developing cost proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 7+ years related experience; minimum 2 years project management experience.
• Experience managing DoD/DoW planning projects or similar government contracts is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple facilities planning projects from pursuit to cost proposal development through completion.
• Lead teams of military planners, analysts, and engineers to meet milestones within budget.
• Facilitate workshops and charrettes with stakeholders to support project objectives.
• Conduct QA/QC reviews to ensure deliverables meet contract scopes and policies.
• Monitor financial status and implement corrective actions to meet delivery goals.
• Prepare fee proposals and technical narratives to pursue new contracts and manage risks.
