Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks a Military Planning Project Manager in Colorado Springs to lead complex DoD facility planning projects from pursuit through completion. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, facilitate workshops, and ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery aligned with agency guidance.

The role requires DoD/DoW experience, strong PM skills, and effective leadership. Responsibilities include preparing fee proposals, coordinating with leadership, and mentoring staff while advancing project objectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 7 years related experience.
• Minimum of 2 years project management experience.
• Ability to interact with design teams and strong organizational, PM and communication skills.
• Active participation in employee-owned culture is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple DoD project planning efforts from pursuit to completion.
• Lead teams of planners, analysts, editors, and CAD/GIS staff.
• Prepare and facilitate workshops and charrettes with stakeholders.
• Conduct QA/QC to ensure deliverables meet client requirements.
• Develop fee proposals and technical approaches for new contracts.
• Support business development and client visits to secure new work.
