HDR seeks a Military Planning Project Manager to lead multi-facility planning projects from pursuit through cost proposal development to completion. You’ll manage teams, facilitate workshops, ensure QA/QC, and oversee budgets for DoD/DoW contracts across various locations.

The role requires DoD/DoW experience, security clearances, travel ability, and a track record in military planning, with strong leadership and communication skills to drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 7 years related experience.
• 2 years project management experience.
• Ability to interact with design teams and strong organizational and communication skills.
• Active participation in employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Manage teams of military planners, analysts, production coordinators, editors, GIS/CAD specialists and other disciplines.
• Supervise, coach and mentor staff for project delivery and market trends.
• Prepare and facilitate workshops and charrettes with stakeholders.
• Conduct in-briefs/out-briefs with leadership for site visits and milestones.
• Conduct QA/QC reviews to align deliverables with client scopes and policies.
• Manage financial status of projects and coordinate with operations leadership.
• Hold progress meetings with client managers and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Operations to manage personnel and deliverables.
• Prepare fee proposals and narrative approaches; assess risks and negotiate with clients.
