Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Director of Business Development for the U.S. Army to lead multi-year capture efforts and shape capability requirements.

You will build deep relationships with program offices, primes, and end users to position MN-MIMO solutions and win large programs. You will manage horizon scanning, strategic pursuits, and cross-functional teaming with the MDE and Account Sales while traveling up to 50% to advance opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; DoD/Army experience preferred.
• 5+ years in defense sales or business development focused on U.S. Army.
• Proven record of capturing complex DoD programs.
• Experience building Army Acquisition offices and prime contractor relationships.
• Experience leading all capture phases from RFI to award.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of capture for large U.S. Army programs.
• Develop relationships with Program Offices, primes, OEMs, end-user communities.
• Shape requirements with customers to position MN-MIMO tech.
• Manage lifecycle of long-cycle pursuits from identification to award.
• Collaborate with MDE and Account Sales for transition to execution.
• Stay updated on market trends, funding priorities.
• Travel up to 50% to engage customers.
• Perform other related duties.
