Motorola Solutions’ Silvus Technologies seeks a Director of Business Development for U.S. Army programs to lead multi‑year captures and shape opportunities around MN‑MIMO tech for defense and public safety.

This role emphasizes building deep relationships with PEOs/PMs, prime contractors, OEMs, and end users to drive capability requirements and successful proposals. The position offers a largely remote work arrangement dependent on location, with up to 50% travel, and a compensation package

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or HS Diploma with 8+ years relevant experience.
• 5+ years defense sales or business development focused on U.S. Army.
• Proven track record capturing complex, long-cycle DoD programs.
• Experience building relationships within U.S. Army Acquisition offices and primes.
• Experience leading all phases of business capture (RFPs, proposals, teaming).
• Understanding of DoD funding and procurement cycles; strong executive briefing skills.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• U.S. Citizen; background check and drug test required.

Responsabilités

• Own and drive capture for large-scale, multi-year U.S. Army programs.
• Cultivate deep relationships with PEOs/PMs, primes, OEMs, end-users.
• Influence technical requirements for long-term programs with MN-MIMO tech.
• Manage full lifecycle of long-cycle pursuits from identification to award.
• Collaborate with MDE and Account Sales for smooth transitions of landed programs.
• Monitor market trends, competitors, and funding priorities.
• Travel up to 50% to engage customers and advance goals.
• Perform other duties as needed.
