Job summary

Crescent Electric Supply Company seeks a Construction Account Manager to build strong relationships with customers and suppliers while achieving sales and gross margin goals. You will prospect, price, and present solutions across a defined territory.

The role emphasizes ethical sales, customer service excellence, and collaboration with suppliers to drive mutual business growth. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 4 years of related experience and/or training in wholesale electrical distribution or construction sales.
• Proven ability to travel up to 25% with overnight stays.
• Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook; product knowledge.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to work under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop a business plan for assigned accounts and achieve sales/gross margin goals.
• Make in-person sales calls to prospective and current customers; price bills of material.
• Promote add-ons and upsell products; propose alternatives when needed.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with construction customers and suppliers.
• Resolve customer requests promptly and communicate company policies.
