Job summary

Crescent Electric Supply Company is seeking a Construction Account Manager to develop and maintain strong relationships with construction customers and suppliers. The role focuses on achieving sales and gross margin goals, prospecting and soliciting orders within management guidelines.

You will create business plans, conduct in-person calls, price materials, and identify customer needs to propose suitable Crescent products and services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years related experience or equivalent
• Experience in wholesale electrical distribution and construction sales preferred
• Valid driver’s license with ability to travel up to 25% with overnight stays
• Proficient computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook and product knowledge
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop a business plan for assigned accounts in Crescent’s CRM and grow sustainable sales in territory
• Make in-person sales calls to prospective and current customers; price bills of material
• Present add-on and upsell products to meet customer needs
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with construction customers and suppliers
• Resolve customer requests promptly and professionally; communicate policies to customers
• Provide feedback on competitive conditions and customer insights to management
• Collaborate with suppliers to drive mutual business and participate in joint sales calls
• Maintain ethical, professional sales practices reflecting on Crescent Electric
