Job summary

Crescent Electric Supply Company is seeking a Construction Account Manager in Omaha to build and maintain strong customer relationships while achieving sales and gross margin targets. You’ll prospect, price materials, and propose bundled solutions across building and industrial segments.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with four years of related experience, strong MS Office skills, and ability to travel up to a quarter of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4 years related experience or equivalent
• Wholesale electrical distribution and construction sales knowledge preferred
• Valid driver’s license with up to 25% travel and overnight stays
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook; strong written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Develop a business plan for assigned accounts and grow sustainable sales and profit in the territory
• Make in-person sales calls to prospective and existing customers and present new products
• Price bills of materials and offer add-ons and upsell opportunities
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with construction customers and suppliers
• Resolve customer requests promptly and professionally; communicate policies to customers and vendors
• Share competitive and customer feedback with management to improve solutions
• Collaborate with suppliers on joint calls to drive mutual business
• Conduct sales activities ethically to uphold Crescent Electric’s reputation
