Job summary

You will drive sales and gross margin by prospecting, presenting solutions, and coordinating with internal teams to meet client needs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of related experience, willingness to travel up to 25%, and strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years related experience or equivalent combination.
• Experience in wholesale electrical distribution and construction sales.
• Valid driver’s license and up to 25% travel with overnight stays.
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) and product knowledge.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills; self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Develop a business plan for assigned accounts and achieve sales/gross margin goals.
• Regularly visit prospective and current customers; introduce new products and price bills of material.
• Sell add-on and up-sell products; propose alternatives when needed.
• Cultivate long-term relationships with construction customers and suppliers.
• Respond promptly to customer requests; communicate company and vendor policies.
