Job summary

Crescent Electric Supply Company in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Construction Account Manager to build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, drive sales and gross margin, prospect new business, and tailor solutions to meet customer needs. You will conduct in-person calls, present new products, price bills of materials, and collaborate with suppliers.

A Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years’ experience in wholesale electrical distribution or construction sales is required, along with a valid

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution; 4 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
• Experience in wholesale electrical distribution or construction sales.
• Valid Driver's License with travel up to 25% with overnight stays.
• Comprehensive computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) and product knowledge.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under time constraints and deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; effective verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Create a business plan for assigned accounts using Crescent’s CRM tool.
• Develop a sustainable sales/profit volume in the assigned territory.
• Regularly make in-person sales calls to prospective and current customers.
• Introduce and demonstrate new products to customers.
• Assist industrial customers by pricing bills of material.
• Sell products and services with an ethical, professional approach.
• Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with construction customers and suppliers.
• Resolve customer requests and problems promptly and professionally.
• Inform customers about relevant company and vendor policies.
• Report competitive conditions, customer feedback, and financial weaknesses to management.
• Collaborate with suppliers to secure mutual business via joint calls.
• Coordinate with internal teams to meet customer needs and drive orders.
