Job summary

Crescent Electric Supply Company is seeking a Construction Account Manager to build and maintain solid, long-term relationships with customers while driving sales and gross margin goals. You will prospect, solicit orders, and tailor solutions from Crescent’s portfolio to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities include in-person calls, pricing bills of material, and collaboration with suppliers. Travel up to 25% with overnight stays is required; strong communication, organization, and CRM skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree; 4 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in wholesale electrical distribution and construction sales.
• Valid Driver’s License with ability to travel up to 25% with overnight stays.
• Proficiency with computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Complete a business plan for assigned accounts in Crescent’s CRM tool.
• Regularly make in-person sales calls to prospective and current customers.
• Price bills of material and propose suitable products/services.
• Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with construction customers and suppliers.
