Job summary

Crescent Electric is seeking a Construction Account Manager to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with construction customers and suppliers. You will drive sales and gross margin by prospecting, pricing, and presenting solutions that meet customer needs while adhering to Crescent’s guidelines and policies.

In this role you will develop account plans, conduct in-person calls, introduce new products, and collaborate with teams to ensure world-class service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of wholesale electrical distribution and construction sales.
• Valid driver's license with up to 25% travel and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Develop a business plan for assigned accounts in Crescent’s CRM tool and develop a sustainable sales/profit volume in the territory.
• Regularly make in-person sales calls to prospective and current customers and demonstrate new products.
• Assist customers by pricing bills of material and propose solutions to meet needs while upselling related products.
• Maintain solid, long-term relationships with construction customers and suppliers.
• Address customer requests and problems promptly and keep customers informed about company and vendor policies.
