Job summary
Sentara Health in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Compensation Analyst to design, budget, implement, and report on compensation policies and practices to attract, retain and engage colleagues. The role collaborates with compensation leadership, HR partners, and the Talent Acquisition Team to ensure market-competitive pay structures and effective incentive plans.
Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree, 1 year of compensation experience, and strong Excel skills, with familiarity in HRIS/payroll
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 1 year of compensation experience.
- Broad based Compensation experience preferred.
- Accounting or Finance background in lieu of comp experience.
- Strong Excel skills.
Responsibilities
- Review market data from salary sources to ensure competitive compensation.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to offer attractive compensation packages.
- Support job hierarchies and position roles within a hierarchy.
- Administer bonus plans aligned with performance goals.
- Support stakeholders in administering merit and other compensation practices.
