Job summary
Sentara Health in Norfolk, VA seeks a Compensation Analyst to design, budget, implement, and report on compensation policies. You will partner with compensation leadership and HR business partners to align pay with market data and business needs.
Responsibilities include analyzing market data, supporting job hierarchies, administering bonus and merit programs, and leveraging HRIS and Excel for complex datasets. A Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of compensation experience are required.

- 1 year of compensation experience.
- Strong Excel skills and HRIS/payroll familiarity.
- Workday experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Review market data from salary sources to ensure market competitiveness.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support attractive compensation packages.
- Provide input on job hierarchies within a structured framework.
- Administer bonus plans aligned with performance goals.
- Support merit and other compensation practices across stakeholders.
- Utilize HRIS/workforce systems and Excel for complex analyses.
