Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Compensation Analyst in Norfolk, VA to design, budget, implement and report on compensation policies. You will analyze market data, collaborate with HR and Talent Acquisition, and support job hierarchies while administering merit and bonus plans.

A bachelor’s degree and 1 year of compensation experience are preferred. Strong Excel skills and proficiency with HRIS/payroll systems, plus a broad-based compensation background, are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s level degree is required.
• 1 year of compensation experience is preferred.
• Broad based Compensation experience is strongly preferred.
• Accounting or Finance background is acceptable in lieu of comp experience.

Responsibilities

• Review market data from salary sources to ensure competitive compensation.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and HR business partners to support offers.
• Assist in defining job levels and hierarchies within the organization.
• Administer merit and bonus programs in line with performance goals.
