Job summary

Johnson Controls International plc. is seeking a Commercial Sales Executive to promote and sell Johnson Controls Security services and technology within an assigned territory, focusing on new business development and customer retention.

You will leverage relationships, demonstrate product leadership and ensure profitable upgrades across new, existing and discontinued commercial accounts while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills with the ability to present to senior level executives within the customer and Johnson Controls Security organizations
• Ability to work a full-time schedule
• Available for local travel
• Where legally permissible, if hired, candidate is required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 unless medical or religious exemptions apply

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Johnson Controls Security services and technology within an assigned territory.
• Create new market share by selling Johnson Controls Security products and services to new local commercial customers.
• Sell additional products and services to existing accounts that present new sales opportunities.
• Sell add-ons, amend, and convert existing customer systems to meet customers' expectations.
• Renew existing customer agreements.
• Identify prospects and maintain relationships with existing customers.
• Establish call plans and follow-up strategies, and manage time and territory effectively.
• Follow up with prospects and ensure commitments are met.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of products/services and customers' needs.
• Obtain referrals and work with Centers of Influence.
