Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Commercial Sales Executive to promote and sell Johnson Controls Security services and technology within an assigned territory, using relationships to close new business and retain customers.

This role requires a strong knowledge of our product line, effective communication with senior executives, and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in security or IT markets.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills with the ability to present to senior level executives.
• Must have no less than three years selling Commercial Security Systems.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule.
• Available for local travel.
• College degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a successful commercial sales representative in the security, IT or other technology sales industry.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Johnson Controls Security services and technology within an assigned territory.
• Develop relationships to close new business and ensure customer retention.
• Maintain deep knowledge of product line and services to address customer needs.
• Renew existing customer agreements and identify new opportunities.
• Coordinate follow-ups and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
