Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Commercial Sales Executive to promote and sell Security services within an assigned territory and to close new business while ensuring customer retention. The role emphasizes relationship-building, product knowledge, and a strong ability to present to senior executives.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of selling Commercial Security Systems, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel locally.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills with the ability to present to senior level executives within the customer and Johnson Controls Security organizations
• Must have no less than three years selling Commercial Security Systems
• Ability to work a full-time schedule
• Available for local travel
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Johnson Controls Security services and technology within an assigned territory
• Close new business and secure profitable sales
• Renew and upgrade existing customer agreements
• Identify prospects and generate leads within the territory
• Maintain knowledge of products and services and customer needs
• Follow up with prospects and customers to ensure satisfaction
