Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks a Commercial Security Sales Manager to lead a field-office sales team, driving revenue growth, strengthening customer relationships, and delivering profitable outcomes across the territory.

You will guide sales strategy, coach representatives, and leverage CRM tools to optimize performance, while coordinating with Fire and HVAC teams for cross-sell opportunities and ensuring alignment with corporate priorities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of sales experience, including 3 years in field sales management (B2B).
• Experience with a CRM tool, preferably Salesforce.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel nights and weekends to accommodate customer needs.
• Experience building and leading sales teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate a commercial security sales team to meet revenue targets.
• Drive business development, territory management, and product sales.
• Own profitability, revenue per user growth, and retention of customers and sales reps.
• Plan and implement sales operations across the territory.
• Set expectations for customer touch activity, quota achievement, and sales execution.
• Measure sales activity to ensure marketing translates to sales results.
• Implement sales initiatives aligned with territory goals.
• Collaborate with other departments to align sales with customer needs.
