Job summary

SoftwareOne is seeking a NORAM Collections Manager to lead a global accounts receivable team from the Finance Shared Service Center. You will design and refine collection strategies, drive cash flow improvements, and manage regional relationships while ensuring regulatory compliance.

This is a remote-friendly, leadership-focused role in the US. Ideal candidates bring 2-5 years of B2B collections management, strong analytical skills, and experience with ERP systems and Excel.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience using AI in a practical, applied way to improve workflows, automate tasks or decision-making.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• 2-5 years of B2B collections management experience.
• Strong leadership abilities, including managing remote teams and achieving departmental goals.
• Solid understanding of financial processes, procedures, and reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial tools (ERP systems, Excel).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills for operational challenges.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills; ability to collaborate with other departments.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement world-class collection strategies to improve cash flow and minimize bad debt.
• Supervise and analyze collections processes and results for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with regional collections and sales teams to standardize methodologies.
• Build positive relationships with key customers, collaborators, and team members.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements across markets.
• Prepare reports and presentations on collections activity performance.
• Lead cross-functional teams across regions and functions; address risks.
• Direct a collections team to achieve performance targets and accountability.
