Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) for AWS Enterprise Support.

You will act as the principal technical advisor and voice of the customer to organizations from startups to Global 500 enterprises, guiding adoption of AWS services and helping keep environments healthy. This role requires travel, typically 10% or more, and involves collaboration with senior leaders across multiple AWS services.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, math, or equivalent.
5+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications experience.
5+ years of technical engineering experience.
Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings.
Knowledge of cloud based architecture, cloud services and experience in customer facing roles.
Experience working with Cloud related technology, and optimized or designed Cloud related technology for an enterprise customer.

Responsibilities

Craft and execute strategies to drive customers' adoption and use of AWS services, including EC2, S3, DynamoDB & RDS, Lambda, CloudFront CDN, and more.
Represent AWS within a customer environment and discuss incidents, trade-offs, support and risk management with senior leadership.
Provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to plan and build solutions using best practices.
