Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to act as the principal technical advisor to enterprise customers, guiding adoption of AWS services across compute, storage, databases, serverless, security, and more.

The TAM will work with senior leaders to craft and execute strategy, travel up to 10%+, and partner with engineering to ensure operational health of customers’ AWS environments while aligning with AWS’ culture of invention and customer obsession.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical engineering experience.
• Experience with troubleshooting across compute, storage, networking, databases, and security in distributed systems.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings (preferred).
• Experience as a technical lead in enterprise or customer-facing environments (preferred).

Responsibilities

• The TAM role is not directly hands on keyboard within the customer's environment for troubleshooting customer support issues; you will work with engineers and service teams to see issues through to resolution.
• You will craft and execute strategies to drive our customers' adoption and use of AWS services including EC2, S3, DynamoDB & RDS databases, Lambda, CloudFront CDN, IoT, and more.
• As a TAM, you will provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices and proactively keep your customers' AWS environments operationally healthy.
