Job summary

Amazon is recruiting a Strategic Account Manager for Strategic Accounts in Mountain View, CA. You will own the overall account strategy, build executive relationships, and drive multi-year plans across AWS services to align with customer objectives.

You will collaborate with sales, customer success, product, and leadership to accelerate adoption, negotiate large-scale agreements, and maintain account health while pursuing revenue growth across global operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent.
• 10+ years in sales/sales management in infrastructure or cloud tech.
• Experience managing global stakeholders.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.
• 5+ years in business development or account management with results.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for a strategic account and owning the overall account strategy, relationship health, and long-term growth trajectory.
• Develop and execute multi-year strategic account plans aligning AWS services with customer objectives to drive adoption across workloads.
• Build and maintain deep, multi-threaded executive relationships across the customer organization.
• Drive revenue growth by identifying expansion opportunities and migrations, positioning AWS as the preferred cloud platform.
• Collaborate with AWS specialist teams, solutions architects, partner managers, and executives to deliver tailored solutions.
• Lead strategic negotiations for large-scale enterprise agreements including EDPs, PPAs, and Marketplace strategies.
• Advocate for the customer within Amazon, communicating feedback and market insights for roadmaps and improvements.
• Monitor account health metrics, pipeline, and revenue attainment, mitigating risks to retention and growth.
