Job summary

Karius is seeking an accomplished Clinical Sales Manager to lead the sales efforts in a defined regional territory across Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana. You will build relationships with infectious disease physicians, lab directors, and hospital executives to drive adoption of the Karius test.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; MBA a plus.
• 5 years sales/business development experience in Life Sciences / Biotech, Medical Device, Diagnostic Equipment, and/or Pharmaceutical industries.
• Robust network of existing relationships in hospitals and health systems, across microbiology labs, physician groups, and executives.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience introducing transformational products/services to physicians/hospitals.
• Strong vision and planning capabilities to grow the territory.
• Experience with multi-level account management.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales revenue and territory by acquiring new hospital accounts.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales, Customer Success, Medical Affairs, and Marketing to achieve goals.
• Develop thought leaders and early adopters for new diagnostic approaches.
• Present product features to stakeholders and close deals.
• Build, manage and nurture hospital & health system accounts.
• Prioritize and segment accounts to maximize opportunity and growth.
• Secure contracts and renewals, and manage account agreements.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product leadership for market feedback.
